The Outback 3 is the logical - and improved - successor of the Outback 2, and has everything the motorcyclist needs: ventilation, storage space, reflection and the possibility to make the jacket waterproof. Add to that even better protection than before, an updated look, and the knowledge that every motorcycle journey starts at your front door, and it's clear: the Outback 3 is for anyone who rides regularly and wants a highly versatile 3-in-1.
REV'IT sticks to a typical cut, even for its touring jackets. Those who have never worn REV'IT jackets before may find them short, although the back is almost always longer to avoid a bare back. A jacket that bulges against the tank will not be a concern. On the motorcycle, where it counts, this ensures optimal wearing comfort.
The Outback 3 consists of 600D-polyester on the outside, completed with polyester ripstop at judicious places, resulting in a wear- and tear-resistant unit. You can use the Outback 3 all year round, thanks to the renewed and removable hydratex® | G-liner, a waterproof membrane that keeps your body dry and breathable. If you're looking for extra warmth, the removable thermal liner will help. Are you getting too warm? The well-known system of ventilation zippers (VCS|Zipper) has been upgraded and completed with ventilation panels on the chest.
The Dutch motorcycle clothing manufacturer is a fan of tightly fitting clothing on and around the body. This results in many additional individual customization options for just about all REV'IT jackets. Belts on the left and right flank serve to perfectly center the jacket, and completely exclude wind play. A drawstring at the waist, a zip at the end of the sleeves, a press button on the upper arm and the 'YKK button' on the collar should make it possible to give the Outback 3 a 100% perfect fit. Four large front pockets, completed with inner pockets in jacket, membrane and thermal lining, result in a lot of storage space. On the back you can store a pair of wet (or dry) gloves. Although that extra storage space is mainly used to keep the removable elements (lining and/or membrane) at hand.
During the day it's hard to see, but in the evening and at night the applied reflection in the logo on the back ensures good visibility. For those who want that little bit of extra: the Outback 3 is equipped with connection loops that allow you to attach the HV Connector Vest quickly and properly. The SEEFLEX CE-level 2 protectors on the shoulders and elbows are a significant upgrade in impact protection. The jacket can also be fitted with a SEESOFT CE-level 2 back protector and is prepared for the SEESOFT CE-level 1 chest protector.
The short connection zipper makes a combination with the Outback 3 pants perfectly possible.
