This (medium) large tankbag is versatile and spacious, making it ideal for day trips or shorter trips. The shape of this enduro tankbag makes it especially suitable for motorcycles with a steeply sloping tank. This Easy-T is new in the range and can only be mounted on a tanklock mounting ring. A safety strap for additional fastening around the steering head guarantees that it stays in place while on the road. Two external side pockets - zippered separately and easily accessible from the outside - offer limited storage options. A third storage compartment is located on the rider’s side. The spacious main stowage compartment features a long zip with two pulls. By bringing the openings of both pullers together you can close the tankbag with a (numerical) lock. The central storage compartment has no additional internal divisions.
On top there is a storage compartment with a transparent window, where a map, tablet or smartphone certainly can find its place. Access to the transparent storage compartment is located inside, which better protects the smartphone or map against the weather.
The Givi Enduro Easy-T is made of sturdy 600D polyester with removable PVC reinforcements. The presence of a handle allows you to take the tankbag with you without problems when making a stop. An included shoulder strap turns the bag into a backpack/shoulder bag in no time. Reflective details increase visibility in the evening and at night.
The dimensions of this tankbag are 25 cm x 36 cm x 32 cm. The height can be extended a few centimeters by means of a zipper. The maximum capacity of the tankbag is then 25 liters.
Attention! Tankbags are attached to the petrol cap, which is - if all goes well - standard in one place. That means: you can't really 'move' with a tanklock tankbag, like you can with magnetic bags, you can choose whether you place them higher or lower on the tank. Short nakeds with a relatively small fuel tank and large tankbags that use tanklock, can cause a conflict at handlebar height. In any case: more luggage space should never be at the expense of better handling.
But ... there are solutions. The bigger the tankbag, the more flexibility it usually offers. The mounting ring of the tank latch system can - in certain cases - be moved. Not meters, but enough to create space and safety.
This medium-sized tankbag can be moved in three positions at the attachment ring. This means you can bring the bag a bit closer to you, creating more space for the handlebars. By loosening - and of course tightening again - four screws, you create a better position on the tank.
This tankbag does not come with a standard cable grommet, but the greatly increased use of electrical devices in and around the bike has led to the development of an optional power supply, in the form of the XS111. The accompanying template allows you to make your own (courtesy of the mounting piece). A sharp knife or good scissors and the XS111 kit is enough to bring any tankbag into these digital times.
