This is the super-compact Victory X-Plus disc brake lock combined with a 12 mm thick chain with hexagonal links. It's a complete set that'll leave well assured your motorcycle is very well secured. Of course, you can use the disk brake lock and the chain separately.
The chain is 120 cm long and made to secure one motorcycle or scooter to a fixed object, e.g., a sturdy fence post or lamppost. Because only one end of the chain needs to be locked, this is a very efficient locking method and you can make optimal use of the length of the chain.
This lock was awarded Security Level 17, which means that the lock offers very good protection in case of high theft risk. The round shape and the rotating outer ring make it more difficult to use tools to break it open, while the renowned ABUS X-Plus cylinder lock ensures high protection against manipulation, such as lockpicking.
For optimal theft protection, make sure the chain lock is not placed on or close to the ground. This helps protecting the chain against heavy-handed manipulation.
The lock comes with two keys. The disc brake lock easily fits in a small tank bag and under some saddles, depending on the bike. The whole package - lock and chain - can be stowed into the ABUS ST1010 protection bag.
Tip: opt for the ABUS ST1010 protection bag. This sturdy but compact bag is padded and comes in handy for storing and transporting your lock.
Please note: this package does not include a memory cable for the disc brake lock. If you use the disc brake lock separately, it is recommended to buy an additional memory cable.
Memory cables are indispensable for reminding you to remove your disc brake lock before leaving. How does it work? Very simple: you attach one loop of the Memory Cable to the locking pin, and put the other side around or near your throttle. In this way you never forget to remove the brake disc lock before you leave.
