The LIQUI MOLY Oil Additive is an advanced engine wear protection based on molybdenum disulphide (MoS₂). This scientifically developed additive reduces engine wear by up to 50%, significantly extending the lifespan of your engine and your motorcycle.
The action of MoS₂ forms a protective layer between moving engine components. As a result, your engine runs lighter and smoother, while both oil and fuel consumption are reduced. The additive supports smoother engine operation and helps prevent malfunctions.
This versatile formula is suitable for all four-stroke and two-stroke engines, regardless of the lubrication system. In four-stroke engines it works with both separate lubrication and premix systems. A key advantage is its compatibility with wet clutches, making it especially relevant for motorcycles.
Dosages vary depending on engine type and application:
- For four-stroke engines: 30 ml per litre of motor oil, or 20 ml per litre for engines with a wet clutch.
- For two-stroke engines, dosage depends on the lubrication system: 20 ml per litre for separate lubrication, 10 ml per 10 litres of fuel mixture for premix lubrication.
For four-stroke engines, the additive is added at every oil change. For two-stroke models, it should be added at every refuel.
The 125 ml package provides enough for several treatments, depending on engine displacement.
