True to the traditions of the Italian manufacturer, Givi's inner bags are in most cases made specifically to fit one type of case. Here we are talking about the Trekker Outback 33 & 40 liters. Although the term 'inner bag' is actually inadequate here.
These particular bags made from PVC Tarpaulin 500D are waterproof and meet Reach requirements. Outback cases are not guaranteed to be waterproof, which means that your luggage may not stay completely dry without an inner bag. The roll-up system to close this (rectangular) bag, the welded seams, this inner bag is very similar to a traditional roll bag. This is how you can use it too: on top of a case or just as an extra saddle bag. The elastic bands that you use for this are included.
Of course nothing prevents you from using the side bags in a more universal way. Even when you choose to use them only as an inner bag. In the end, the only limitation is the hard outer surface of the case. If the dimensions of the inner bag fit the inner dimensions of your case and the shape is not totally different, there is no reason why they cannot be used together.
Dimensions of this bag: 30 cm x 18 cm x 46 cm (HxWxD), good for a capacity of 30 liters. Luckily the shoulder strap comes standard. The exact measurements can be reduced a bit thanks to the little valve to let unnecessary air escape.
