The GIVI Easy-T EASY05 is a universal 12‑litre Tanklock tank bag. In theory it fits a wide range of motorcycles, but it is especially well suited to the sloping fuel tanks of maxi‑enduro and adventure motorcycles. Where a standard tank bag struggles with the angle of such tanks, this Easy-T adapts to the shape, resulting in stability even under challenging riding conditions.
The outer material of this Tanklock tank bag is 600D ripstop polyester with a PU laminate, which provides wear and tear‑resistance. The fabric is UV‑resistant according to ISO 4892‑2, meaning prolonged exposure to sunlight will not degrade the material. The tank bag itself is not fully waterproof (a few drops are no problem), but GIVI supplies a water‑resistant rain cover to keep the bag and, more importantly, its contents dry during rainy rides. Reflective panels on the sides improve visibility in the dark.
Two additional (zipped) side pockets provide space for smaller items you want to keep quickly accessible. At the front there is an extra compartment with a mesh outer pocket, ideal for objects you really want within immediate reach. A cable port allows you to charge electronic devices while they sit safely inside the tank bag. The integrated M.O.L.L.E. system lets you attach accessories such as the EASYSH phone holder (available separately). Most storage space is, of course, in the main compartment, which closes with a zip and dual pullers.
The Tanklock mounting system ensures a secure and stable attachment to the tank. Tanklock is a specific mounting method: anyone who has used it before will recognise the characteristic ring mounted on the fuel tank. If you are new to the system, you will need a bike‑specific Tanklock flange (BF series), which must be ordered separately. Always check compatibility for your motorcycle before purchase and, when stationary, verify that the tank bag does not interfere with handlebar movement.
If it does, there is room for adjustment. This Easy-T Tanklock tank bag allows three mounting positions. You can move the Tanklock attachment point on the bag itself, which adds flexibility for different tank shapes.
A safety strap offers additional anchoring of the tank bag to the handlebar. This strap also doubles as a shoulder strap when you remove the tank bag from the motorcycle. A carry handle makes transport even easier.
