The Interphone SYNC70 is a 7‑inch multimedia display with front and rear cameras and tyre‑pressure sensors. This is the complete version of the SYNC70, where the display is extended with dashcam functionality, blind‑spot detection and real‑time tyre‑pressure monitoring.
SYNC70 Essential is limited to CarPlay, Android Auto and a digital dashboard, the SYNC70 adds a range of substantial safety features.
Your smartphone meanwhile stays safely in your pocket or bag, while the SYNC70 display synchronises via Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi with CarPlay or Android Auto. Navigation, music, messages, phone calls – everything your smartphone does – appears on a large, clear 7‑inch IPS touchscreen that is optimised for use with motorcycle gloves. Anti‑raindrop technology prevents ghosts touches during wet rides.
A built‑in GPS chip provides location data for the digital dashboard: speed, altitude, direction and compass. This GPS function focuses purely on location data, not on navigation. Traditional GPS systems that help you find your way still run via your smartphone.
The supplied front and rear cameras have a dual function. Firstly: dashcam. The cameras record the ride, both at the front and at the rear, providing footage in the event of an incident. Note: for this dashcam function you must fit the SYNC70 with a microSD card yourself (minimum Class 10, supported up to 256 GB). This SD card is not included.
Secondly: blind‑spot detection. The cameras show warnings on the display when another vehicle is close behind you on the left, in the centre or on the right. These warnings increase safety and provide a more complete picture of the traffic around you.
The supplied TPMS tyre‑pressure sensors replace your existing valve caps and monitor tyre pressure in real time. The data appears on the display and warns you of tyre pressure that is too low or too high. Correct tyre pressure improves safety, stability and tyre life.
For anyone now thinking that this requires quite the handyman: you mount the cameras on the front and rear of your motorcycle using the supplied adhesive pads or screws. You screw the TPMS sensors onto the valves in place of your current valve caps. The manual guides you step by step through the installation. It is not all that complex, but it does need to be done correctly. Tyre pressure and surrounding traffic, you naturally want the information you get to be completely accurate.
The housing of the display has an IP66 rating, which provides protection against splash water and dust. Deep‑sea diving is out of the question; be careful in the car wash or with the pressure washer and it may also be a good idea to take the Interphone display with you if you have to shelter somewhere. The SYNC70 operates in temperatures from −20°C to +70°C. There is a fair chance you will already have thrown in the towel yourself by then.
The dual power option – 12 V DC directly from your motorcycle battery, or via USB Type‑C with the supplied cable – makes the unit highly versatile.
The Quiklox mounting system is included and makes installation on the handlebar straightforward. You click the unit into place quickly and release it just as easily. If this mount is not ideal for your motorcycle, alternative mounts are available.
On purchase you receive the SYNC70 unit, front and rear cameras with mounting materials and screws, a set of TPMS sensors, the Quiklox handlebar mounting kit, a main wiring loom, an adapter with cable for 12 V DC power, a USB‑A power cable, a USB‑C power cable, tools and a user manual.
