This Oxford ‘Syphon’ or siphon pump is a compact tool designed for quick and clean fluid transfer. It’s one of those practical items you’ll hardly ever think about, until the day you need it.
Small enough to fit in any toolkit, yet essential when transferring fuel from a jerrycan to a fuel tank or the other way around. Its compact size makes the Syphon ideal for emergencies or anytime you want to transfer fluids without spills. Tanked the wrong fuel, a DIY project in the garage, relighting a camping stove, or helping a fellow rider with just enough petrol to reach the nearest station ... the use cases are endless.
The operating principle of the syphon is simple and highly effective: a few squeezes on the hand pump are enough to draw fluid into the hose and start the siphoning process. The transparent 1.7‑metre PVC hose lets you monitor the flow at all times, making the process safe and controlled.
The construction combines a durable PVC hose with NBR rubber components, resistant to the common fluids you’ll encounter around motorcycles: fuel, oil, and other chemicals.
Tip from the RAD house
Never use your mouth to start siphoning. That’s what the hand pump is for. Always read the instructions carefully and be mindful of the fluids you’re working with.
