Motul always focuses on corrosion protection and that is no different here. This also goes for the seals and hoses of the cooling system. Motul Motocool Factory Line is very stable at all temperatures and reduces the operating temperature of your engine. It also ensures an optimal optimal power delivery.

Motul Motocool Factory Line has an an extremely high boiling point and is suitable for professional car and motorcycle sports uses. Again, when the regulations allow it.
Motul Motocool Factory Line is only miscible with other cooling liquids on the same organic basis.

What does the cooling system do?
The cooling system is an important part of your motorcycle. It ensures that your engine, that heats up when it is running, does not overheat. An overheated engine will be damaged, and can even, at worst, seize up. For an optimal functioning cooling system, it is therefore vital that you use a good coolant.

Why use a coolant?
You may have heard it said that you might as well use demineralised water in your motorcycle, because coolant is 'just demineralised water with a few additives'. But of course it is much more than that. It is true that on amateur racing tracks demineralised water is sometimes used instead of coolant. This has only one reason: so that in case of a crash no slippery coolant can end up on the track. In a street bikes, and also track bikes that don't have to comply with race regulations, you always use proper coolant. The cooling circuit of a racing motorcycle is emptied and cleaned during the winter season, which is not the case with most motorcycles used on the street. Water can cause a lot of damage like corrosion and limescale. A frozen water-filled pipe may also burst.
