The 'ball', 'sphere' or 'bullet' forms the basis of just about any RAM Mount setup. The question is where to install that ball onto the motorcycle in the most efficient location. Handlebar clamp, mirror mount, a base plate or even a cover-with-ball on the fluid reservoir, there are many options.

The idea is to make use of the M10 thread that is already present. The adapter has a length of 1.27 cm (0.5"). The ball is a standard size (1 inch), which makes it compatible with just about all GPS and smartphone holders, RAM arms, and anything else that you want to have at hand in the motorcycle cockpit.
