The Balaclava 3.0 is the – logical – successor to the 2.0. Macna developed the third version to help you get through the winter as a motorcyclist. That said, you’re still doing most of the riding yourself, of course, but the Balaclava 3.0 makes the whole experience considerably more comfortable. And in fact, you can easily use the Balaclava 3.0 for a large part of the year.
The materials have been specifically selected to keep the cold out and your body heat in. Microfleece, spandex and mesh – when combined in the right way – create a great balance between breathability and warmth.
For this improved version, Macna added a pre-shaped chin and nose section. Combined with the soft stretch material, this provides an optimal fit in virtually all circumstances. Thanks to the perforated mouthpiece, you can breathe freely and without any problems – certainly not an unimportant feature when riding a motorcycle.
The windproof panels at the front contribute to the overall comfort and also make the Balaclava 3.0 an ideal winter sports accessory. In one smooth motion, it covers your neck, throat and a large part of your chest as well.
There’s no need for any complicated manoeuvres when putting on the Balaclava either. A conveniently positioned asymmetric zip makes it very easy and practical to use.
