These gloves are designed to combine good protection with varying levels of warmth and comfort.
The length of the glove protects the wearer up to just past the wrist. Touring riders, commuters and all-season riders will find them useful in many conditions.
This electrically heated winter glove consists on the outside of 'softflex' textile. The palm is covered with goatskin. A raintex membrane - treated to withstand the temperature variations of an electric glove - guarantees waterproofing without sacrificing breathability. Inside, Bemberg textile and a thermal Isofur lining ensure comfort.
An integrated TPU knuckle protector on the back of the hand provides additional protection, as do the elaborate reinforcements on the palm, thumb and outer side of the pinky finger.
The velcro fastener - under the thumb at an angle of 30° for greater freedom of movement - ensures that the glove remains securely in place. On the wrist there is a second velcro fastener which allows the gloves to be adjusted for more comfort over or under the jacket.
The Macna gloves are comfortable to put on and take off. Extra weight is located on the inside of the wrist, where the lithium batteries are located.
Handy features include a 'screen wiper’ on both the left and right side, index fingers with 'touch tip' to operate a touch screen and the ergonomically pre-shaped thumb pieces.
The three-stage temperature regulator is located on the back of each glove. Extensive in-house testing shows that the Macna gloves are perfect for winter city traffic or trips on secondary roads. A set of batteries and an AC adapter are supplied as standard. A full battery can generate (7,4 V) up to four hours of heat. With this extra battery you can easily turn that into a whole day of pleasant warmth. These gloves do not really come into their own at high-speed motorway miles.
’Warmth' comes in different intensities and degrees, but the place where the heat manifests itself plays a role as well, of course.
Here we are talking specifically about the back of the hand and the top of the fingers.
It goes without saying that the heat, once it is present, does spread out, which - more than heating a single spot - ensures the best effect.
ATTENTION: the batteries are only guaranteed for 1 year. The gloves have a standard 2-year warranty.

As these gloves contain electronic components, it goes without saying that they cannot be put in the washing machine. A gentle hand wash is possible, however, provided that you dry the connectors with a hair dryer after washing.
