REV’IT! stays true to its signature cut, typical of the brand’s touring motorcycle jackets. If you’ve never worn REV’IT! before, the fit may feel a bit short at first, although the elongated back prevents exposure of your lower back. A bulging motorcycle jacket pushing against the tank won’t be a concern here. Comfort on the motorcycle, where it matters most, remains optimal. The outer shell of the Outback 5 H2O combines 600D polyester with strategically placed polyester XL 600D ripstop, making it a wear‑resistant and tear‑resistant whole.
Thanks to the removable hydratex|G‑liner membrane, the Outback 5 can serve you all year round. It’s waterproof, breathable, and finished to a remarkably high standard. Need extra warmth? The removable thermal liner has you covered. Both well-finished layers can be used independently thanks to the clever system of uniform press studs instead of separate zips.
Feeling warm after all those kilometres? Here’s where the new Outback 5 H2O truly shines: the ventilation section has been significantly improved. Zippers on the forearms channel airflow directly, while large chest panels provide substantial cooling area. These panels can be set in two positions, so you can choose between a half‑open or fully open setting depending on how much cooling you need.
As always, the Dutch motorcycle clothing manufacturer favours a close, body‑hugging fit, resulting in a wide range of individual adjustment options in just about all REV’IT! motorcycle jackets. The integrated waist belt with buckle keeps the motorcycle jacket perfectly centred, even while on the move. Additional adjustment points include snap buttons on the arms, Velcro tabs at the cuffs, and the convenient flexisnap collar that opens and closes in one smooth motion.
