The Stafford D-Dry® are short motorcycle gloves. With these, DAINESE focus on city traffic and situations where you need to get ‘in and out quick’. With their short cuff and without extra lining, these appear to be summery motorcycles gloves, although opinions may differ.
In times of heated grips and electric motorcycle gloves, there are many options. The seasons can be confused from time to time and in those circumstances, thinner motorcycles gloves are a bonus. The D-Dry®-membrane is the most important element here: perfectly waterproof and optimally breathable. As long as your hands stay dry, everything else doesn’t really matter that much.
The aim of the Stafford D-Dry® motorcycles gloves is to fit around your hands like a second, close-fitting skin. There is only one thing better than ‘in and out quick’, and that’s having to take them off at all. With that in mind, these motorcycle gloves have been designed practically, with sufficient elastic materials and soft inserts. No protruding knuckle protector, nor a palm slider and the likes. No, these are motorcycle gloves that focus on safety and/in the weather, not fast track records.
Which doesn’t mean your hands are not protected against impact: the palm is reinforced with Amica suede and, this is still DAINESE. Of course, they are certified: CE - Cat. II - EN 13594/2015 Standard cat. II.
The Stafford D-Dry® motorcycles gloves are developed to ride. That’s the main conclusion. DAINESE keeps in mind the Italian climate and the larger cities from the Boot but these excellent gloves do not need to be restricted to that. The short cuff is a choice for many motorcyclists but to be honest, this is the only option here.
With a level of finishing existing of (subtle) reflective material and GPS and smartphone compatible fingertips, these motorcycle gloves are more than outstanding.
