This ventilated and airy summer glove feels quite sturdy and robust. Lots of protective material, good protectors and generous use of leather provide a nice balance and a wide range of uses.
To be clear: The Dirt 3 is and always will be a summer glove. One in which your hands get wet when it really starts to pour. Further, there are very few limitations. This not very short summer glove consists of a lot of goatskin leather, which covers about the entire palm, side and part of the back of the hand. It provides a firm feel, while the back of the hand consists for a large part of ventilating 3D-air mesh and thus allows the wind to pass through without being obstructed. Other basic materials used are certain plastics, discreet reflective material (just look for it during the day) and conductive Connect on the fingertips, which allows you to effectively control your smartphone. Everything is judiciously placed, and a PWR|Shield holds it all together.
There are also protective elements, and plenty of them. TPR is the chosen material in this case, and both the (hard) knuckle protector, the palm slider and the fingers (except the little finger) have been equipped with this material. The thumb has to make do with a foam one for freedom of movement and comfort, and the same foam can be found under the TPR-protectors. A quite solid and robust unit, like we already said.
Although this is certainly not a long glove, your wrist can be sure of more than enough protection and stability. The cuff closes with a wide velcro strip.
