The Lady Oskar is a vintage summer jacket that, as successor to the Lady Walt, has the same durability, but combines it with a lot more ventilation. Standard, because these are panels, not zippable vents.
A summer jacket, and those usually look very high-tech. Segura rather likes retro, café racers and custom, so the Lady Oskar stays true to that tradition. However, with 600D as a base material and hard mesh panels for ventilation, this must be one of the most contemporary looking jackets in the Segura range.
In any case: the Lady Oskar is incredibly light. This is the jacket you wear when it's too hot to wear a jacket. Not only because it's much safer on a motorcycle, but also because it’s a sight for sore eyes. Compared to the Lady Walt, Lady Oskar has got a lot more mesh. The entire back, the inside of the sleeves and both chest pieces are fully breathable.
Light, breathable, well ventilated: this is comfortable. When you stop somewhere, you stow it away just as quickly as keeping it on. At the waist, snaps allow for additional adjustment. The sleeve ends are equipped with both a triple press stud and a zipper. The same press studs can also be found on the collar. There's plenty of storage space with two zippered front pockets and two large inner pockets.
As far as impact protection is concerned, the basis is certainly sufficient. This is not a race jacket, but it is CE-certified. Both as a personal protection item, and separately for the shoulder and elbow protectors. The back protector is optional, but everything is foreseen to fit it in easily.
Lovers of this style will probably - and rightly so - opt for a pair of motorbike jeans, motorbike shoes and a good jet helmet to complete the picture.
