When an Italian manufacturer of motorcycle clothing names a jacket after a southern Spanish - and very hot - city, you shouldn't expect three layers of thermal padding. This is 'Air': as much windproofing and ventilation as possible, in the perfect balance with just enough motorcycling protection.
The latter is crucial: there is only one thing dumber than crawling on your bike with a jacket, and that is trying it without a jacket. That's why Dainese opted for wear-resistant material for the Sevilla Lady Air Tex. Just enough to attach the perforated mesh. This also has a wear-resistant base, although you should not expect a motorcycle jacket that you can literally see through to deliver the same performance as a full leather motorcycle suit.
The focus lies elsewhere: ventilation. Almost integral. There is just enough space to install a pair of Pro-Shape 2.0 impact protectors on the elbows and shoulders. They are light and very flexible, which perfectly matches the vision behind the Sevilla Lady Air. You can always add an optional back protector.
Two front pockets - with zipper - provide storage space. Both on the sleeve ends, the collar and the waist velcro strips provide a perfect fit. These individual adjustment options do not prevent you from going for 'short and tight' when trying it on. It's the first thing anyway: you can't make an ultra-ventilated jacket, and then let it run to your knees.
The Sevilla Lady Air is a light, pleasant, easy blow-through jacket. Combining it with light motorcycle jeans seems the logical choice.
