The Braddy has a retro look, but at the same time looks quite contemporary. Segura calls it 'Neo-retro', although this is still a motorcycle jacket that can be used anywhere in its characteristic style. And that's exactly what it's supposed to do.
This is quite austere and perhaps strikingly un-military, un-classical and somewhat pilot lacking. Especially next to the traditional range of the French motorcycle clothing manufacturer. Yet, there is enough recognizability in it to create instant confidence. The exterior consists of hard-wearing Fibretech 600D with an integrated waterproof membrane. The 90-grams thermal lining keeps you nice and warm on cold days, while a number of ventilation zippers do exactly the opposite on warm moments. Versatility is key, also because the Braddy as a whole has a high degree of breathability.
The short cut is 'body fit': no parachute, but not a race suit either. Neatly somewhere in between, easy to use, easy to put on and take off. There are not many individual adjustment possibilities. Or rather: there are not necessary. The sleeve ends can be made tighter with a push button or two, but that's it.
With three outer pockets, an extra pocket on the forearm and three inner pockets, there's no shortage of storage space.
This is a jacket for the city, for short trips, for the (shorter) commuter rides or just to go out now and then. Not a specialist, but an all-rounder.
There is maintenance clothing and then there is clothing maintenance. Good, solid motorcycle clothing is an investment in comfort and personal safety. So invest in its maintenance after your purchase and enjoy your gear for longer.
We put the best tips & tricks on this maintenance page.
