Officially this hoodie was named 'Hootch', which is usually used in an alcoholic context. In this case it should almost certainly refer to 'café racer'.
This Hootch-hoodie is one that appeals especially to lovers of custom projects. This is something for summer café rides with café racers. Chill. Relax. Just launch after a red light, but no ambition to break speed records.
The exterior is 100% cotton, so it has the same motorcycle ambitions as a weekday shirt. But, there's more than meets the eye, because the entire inside of this hoodie is lined with DuPont™ KEVLAR®, and suddenly we're back in the typical motorcycle environment. The result is a nice base, where the outer side can also be worn in an urban context without a bike around, while - once you get on - you can still count on a lot of protection. WINNER is responsible for the shoulder and elbow protectors. They are CE-certified (EN 1621-1:2012) and, if necessary, can be supplemented by a CE-approved back protector. The latter is optional.
Water- and windproofness should not be expected. The Hootch can take a beating (a city shock, within limits) and will withstand the first few drops or windy conditions, but preferably keeps it all in check.
Two side pockets, a chest pocket and an inner pocket. A good central zipper, a ribbed waist and ribbed sleeve ends. A good hood - that's part of a hoodie - that can't be removed... For lovers of this type of casual motorcycle clothing, this is an extra option. One which will easily stand comparison with other, similar motorcycle clothing.
Below you can find an overview per jacket size of the appropriate CE homologated SAS-TEC back protector.
