Usually you choose a striking topside, here it's the sole. That's right. The sole. Transparent TPU, with a colorful element. And further: high developed, lightweight, comfortable and striking, that pretty much sums up the Filter.
The outside can take a beating. Despite their light weight, these are motorcycle shoes that know their worth. On any terrain. It is mainly leather (nubuck and suede, perforated in the right places) that is responsible for the general first impression. Below that: ankle cup, reinforced side panel, heel and toe reinforcement and an array of double layers. The end result is a very nice motorcycle shoe, which you can wear on weekends, during the week, in an office or in a bar. It's your departure that will stand out, because the sole is the eye-catcher here.
For you, what's above that sole might be a little more interesting. Since 2020, REV'IT! has been integrating the 'OrthoLite' insole in all its motorcycle shoes, and that's a sure guarantee of pleasant, comfortable, 'walkable' motorcycle shoes. Did we mention versatility?
Getting in and out of the shoe is done as you would expect of any other (non-)motorcycle shoe: from the top, after which you tie the laces. The shaft of the Filter reaches above the ankle, at the front and the back. The long tongue is therefore logical.
This motorcycle shoe is not waterproof. A splash or a puddle will do, but perforated leather has its limits.
