Wired microphone

The “Wired Microphone” option indicates which type of microphone is included with the intercom and which helmet type it is suitable for. This affects installation and usability while riding.

• Yes: The intercom comes with a flat, wired microphone that you attach to the inside of the helmet. This type is especially suitable for full-face helmets and non-modular adventure helmets, where the microphone stays in a fixed position without moving parts.
• No: The intercom comes with a boom microphone. This type is especially suitable for modular (flip-up) helmets and other helmets with a moving chin bar, as the microphone moves along and can be flexibly positioned.
• Integrated: The microphone is built into the helmet or the communication system itself. No separate components are needed, resulting in a clean finish and easy installation. This type usually only works with specific helmets.
