How to mount the front sprocket correctly
The markings (AFAM stamp and article number) must always be facing outwards, away from the engine. If you can't see them, you're doing it wrong.
If there is not enough room for a stamp and an article number, there should be an arrow on the gearwheel. This arrow indicates the direction of the rotation and it should always be visible on the outside.
