The aluminum motorcycle cases which have become a trademark of GIVI and come in various sizes that listen to the name Tractor Outback have one disadvantage: they are aluminum cases in various sizes.
Put a can of soda in it and you'll discover immediately what we mean. Now, you better drink that can in advance anyway, but with this soft neoprene lining, GIVI makes it possible for your luggage and the inside of your cases to stay intact a little longer. The neoprene is a few millimeters thick and so the aluminum case no longer comes into contact with your luggage. Does that mean that two bottles of wine will survive the trip intact? Also no. Will a white shirt without black aluminum stripes turn up? Most certainly.
You fold this – pre-folded - motorcycle case liner actually very easily into the case. Let's just say that it's harder not to make it work, than it is to. Since each specific Outback has its own dimensions, this also applies to the inner lining. Once you have the right size in hands, there is little to go wrong.
There is an inner lining for the Trekker Outback OBKN37, OBKN42, OBKN48 and the OBKN58. So, side and top cases of just about any capacity.
Place the bottom with the GIVI logo facing up. The inner lining can be guided through any notches and form a nice neoprene cover over the entire interior. Lid included. On the long side you have two strips of double-sided adhesive tape to secure everything in the case. Because for each specific case you have a specific, correctly cut and folded inner lining, "I had to pull a bit" should never happen.
