The Doubletake Adventure mirror is designed to lead you through harsh adventures. The key to success is the compatibility with the RAM® Mounts-system; it enables the rear-view mirror to be adjustable to virtually every position and is a little more flexible when adventure is really up-close and personal. Read as: bend instead of break under swaying branches or when for a short while, your wheels are not the lowest part of your motorcycle. ‘Indestructible’ is probably a little exaggerated but it's not too far off.
The elongated design of the Doubletake Adventure mirror creates a wide field of vision. Compared to the (round) Enduro mirror, it is more stable at high(er) speeds as well. A little less ‘ditch humper’-style, in other words. The casing (14 x 9cm) is made of strong Zytel nylon, with a lifetime warranty.
With this combination of features, this Doubletake Adventure mirror is perfectly suitable for the large adventurers: BMW GS, KTM 12-and-the-likes, Honda Africa Twin, Yamaha (Super) Tenere and many more. A piece of highway, followed by a strip of gravel, no problem at all.
Attention: this is only the mirror, you have to order the mounting parts separately and put them together yourself according to the mirror clamp on your motorcycle. These mirrors are sold individually.
What do you need for installation?
1. The mirror itself, of course
2. A RAM arm, comes in three different lengths: short (6 cm), standard (9.5 cm) or long (15 cm)
3. A RAM M10 mirror mount with a pitch of 1.25 or 1.5, depending on the thread of your motorcycle's mirror clamp
If necessary, place a mirror adapter between the mirror clamp of your motorcycle and the RAM M10 mirror mount that is compatible with the thread of the original clamp of your motorcycle.
