The Stray Cat is a pair of transparent, photochromatic (motorcycle) glasses by Global Vision. In laymen’s terms: they adjust. The more UV light, the darker the Global Vision Stray Cat.
In a car, behind a windscreen with UV filter, that won’t amount to much. On a motorcycle, however, it would. It takes a couple of seconds (for instance, when you’re taking them out of your motorcycle jacket’s pocket) but the lens will transform from transparent to smoky.
The frame is shiny black and finished with a neoprene padding. This allows for a controlled circulation while providing a decent fit that prevents fogging. So, comfort and function. The anti-fog layer is obviously an added value here. Another added value is the little microfibre bag that doubles as a cleaning cloth.
Not unimportant: the photochromatic Global Vision Stray Cat has smooth, rounded temples without obstructions that would slide easily between head and motorcycle helmet.
