Below that, a removable lining serves as extra thermal layer in the motorbike jacket, which means the Mayfair can be worn a whole (lot of months per) year. Definitely in the urban setting it was designed for and where there are not really any extremes.
Are we missing any specific wear-resistant materials? No, not if you use the Mayfair Lady D-DRY® in city traffic with a practical all-weather mentality, looking for an easy, convenient motorcycle jacket. Something like that. It’s obviously not a racing suit but don’t be fooled by the apparent simplicity: this is DAINESE. The details are on point, there’s a high level of finishing and the motorcycle jacket has been prepared to fit a CE-certified G1 and G2 back protector. The soft Pro-Armor protectors on the shoulders and the elbows come standard, naturally – CE-certified as well.
The Mayfair Lady D-DRY® has a ‘normal’ cut. Not as short as a racing jacket, a little shorter than a touring jacket. A balancing act, we started off with that. This also suggests you don’t get – or need – tons of individual adjustment options.
