The non-unzippable, waterproof solto-TEX®-membrane has breathing capacities; breathing and ventilated, however, are no synonyms. That’s why IXS has provided two ventilation openings underneath the armpits. This is still ‘breathing’ and not as much ‘ventilated’: the air-system, with two air outlets in the back, will probably bring refreshment and ventilation but it won’t bring Southern-European summer temperatures within the bounds of comfort.
The adjustment options around the arms – twice Velcro – and the waist are enough to ‘play’ with the absence or presence of the thermal lining. It’s best to fit snugly; it’s sporty, isn’t it. The storage space, however, gives away a more day-to-day use. The two outer pockets close off properly. With two inner pockets and a Napoleon pocket you can even store some things inside, in the thermal lining, as well as in the jacket itself.
