The REV'IT! Proxy H2O Lady is a waterproof, sporty softshell motorcycle jacket. It's related to the Afterburn, but is slightly tighter, just as soft, and yet very relaxed, with a removable hood. At first sight a somewhat idiosyncratic mix, and it delivers very strong results.
The Proxy H2O Lady also exists in a men's version, but this 'Lady', like almost every other REV'IT! women's jacket, is anatomically different enough to justify its existence.
Neither the feel nor the look of the Proxy H2O Lady are 'typical'. Softshell, the hood, it rather looks like the jacket you put on when you got off the bike. And yet, this is a full-fledged motorcycle jacket. A very strong one at that, in every sense of the word. One in high density softshell 3L. Softshell 3L is all-round, keeps everything dry and offers comfort in most weather conditions. This one is tailor-made for your bike, and what you lack in the softshell itself, REV'IT! has added to it.
A removable lining provides extra insulation when it gets chilly, and a waterproof and breathable - built-in and therefore non-removable - Hydratex®|mesh G-liner membrane protects against any moisture that comes from the outside. The double, scanted zipper in the front illustrates that you can have some expectations in that area. Ventilation openings can be found on the forearms and the wind leaves the Proxy H2O Lady through the back.
The removable hood hides the sporty nature of the Proxy H2O. REV'IT! deliberately left a little more room so you don't have to muddle your way into this light-feeling motorcycle jacket, but it's still centered, pre-shaped, short, and tight enough to give you that sporty feel. You can also slide around yourself: a snap button on the upper arms and velcro strips at the sleeve ends are the main adjustment options.
Protection is provided by SEESMART™ protectors on the elbows and shoulders, and those who wish can easily fit a SEESOFT™ or SEESOFT™ Air CE back protector. Storage options come in the form of two side pockets (with zipper) and two inner pockets.
A short connecting zipper is present, although the combination with a good pair of motorcycle jeans seems a logical choice. Optionally, you can use the Safeway 2 belt.
