The Apex Air H2O Lady is the ventilated, yet still waterproof, textile jacket that completes the Apex collection. From the razor-sharp one-piece race suit to this summer-and-more variant, it's a wide spread.
An apparent contradiction too: either you're ventilated and breathable, or you turn out to be waterproof. The Apex Air H2O Lady is both. And both are good.
The Apex Air H2O Lady is a mesh jacket with a removable waterproof membrane. And a sporty design. Well-equipped with mesh panels on arms, chest and back, with a 'chassis' that thanks to a mix of wear and abrasion resistant materials (600D and 300D hexagonal) form a reliable coat structure. And there's not much else you need.
The sleeves have a press button at upper arm level that allows you to adjust the width and the waist is adjustable by means of long velcro strips. This is especially useful when you want to use the removable hydratex®|Lite membrane. The membrane is by the way one - yes, it is possible - that is pleasant to stay in. Skin contact is clearly more comfortable than we were used to.
The Apex Air H2O Lady is therefore a very versatile motorcycle jacket. A sporty looking all-rounder. The external elbow sliders from pure racing have disappeared, the TPU shoulder sliders are still there. The rest of the impact protection also remains excellent: SEESMART® Level 1 CE protectors on the shoulders and elbows, and for those who wish, an optional SEESOFT® CE back protector or SEESOFT Air® CE back protector. A step down from than the rest of the track, which is of course reflected in the competitive price. For all intents and purposes: a step below track level is still more than sufficient for normal use on public roads.
The sleeve ends got a stripe velcro, the adjustment possibility at the waist consists of a drawstring. At the collar and on the upper arms REV'IT! uses snaps.
The cut of the Apex Air H2O Lady is logically much more "textile" than its tighter, sharper leather siblings. Traditionally also a bit longer at the back than at the front, although it remains obvious that the inspiration comes mainly from the short racing jackets and motorcycle suits.
Reflective material comes in the form of a subtle element at the bottom of the back.
With the short connecting zipper and the double Belt Loop, you can connect this jacket with a pair of motorcycle jeans or textile REV'IT!-based motorcycle pants, should you wish to go for a complete look.
