It is best for a leather motorcycle jacket like this Laxey to fit tightly. This is a body fit that should hold the upper body in a gentle embrace. We notice a slightly centred line and at the bottom – waist – you gain 4 centimetres thanks to pushbuttons on each side. It is best to take the tight, short, comfortable leather that will still somewhat adjust to your body into account.
The Laxey’s appearance is classical. Not really tough, not typically ‘bike’, more neutral – for as long as an excellent leather jacket can be called that.
Impact protection is provided by the CE-certified OMEGA elbow and shoulder protectors. These are just as flexible as they are tangible, so the emphasis is mainly on wearing comfort and a pleasant feel, not on breaking speed records between traffic lights. The back protector – obviously a CE-certified one – can be fitted optionally in the specified compartment.
Speaking of storage compartments: three outer pockets with zipper, two inner pockets and an additional napoleon pocket give quite a number of options. Neoprene finishing at the collar – closed with a pushbutton – shows that the Laxey is designed with an eye for detail and comfort.
