With this small but handy Tanklock tankbag you will always keep all your valuables within reach. On top there is a special storage compartment for your smartphone. This tankbag can only be mounted on a tank lock mounting ring. You can find the right tank lock mounting ring for your bike here. The main storage compartment is provided with a long zipper with two pullers. By bringing the openings of both pullers together, you can close the tank bag with a lock. A mesh panel in the preformed lid allows for additional division. On top there is a transparent window (8 cm x 16,5 cm), for easy reading of a smartphone. Access to this transparent storage compartment is on the outside.
The GIVI ST611 is made of preformed hard panels covered with EVA 900DD. That creates a pretty sturdy and solid unit. So don't count on a lot of slack. A separate rain cover is included. The presence of a handle and a removable shoulder strap allow you to take the tankbag with you easily when making a stop. Reflective details increase visibility in the evening and at night.
The standard size of this preformed GIVI bag is 29 cm x 24 cm x 17 cm, good for a capacity of 6 liters. There are no folding possibilities. However, there is a cable outlet. Compatible with the GIVI Power Hub charging system.
Attention: Tanklock tankbags are attached to the petrol cap, which is - if all goes well - standard in one place. That means: you can't really 'shift' a tanklock tankbag, like you can with magnetic bags, whether you place them higher or lower on the tank. Short naked motorcycles with a relatively small petrol tank and large tank bags using Tanklock may cause a conflict at handlebar height. In any case: more luggage space should never be at the expense of better handling.
But ... there are solutions. The bigger the tankbag, the more flexibility it usually offers. The mounting ring of the Tanklock system can - in certain cases - be moved. Not meters, but enough to create space and safety.
However, this tankbag has a rather limited size. The chance of a conflict is therefore small. There are no adjustment possibilities at the mounting ring.
This tankbag is standard equipped with a cable grommet, through which you can connect electrical devices with a motorcycle mounted plug during the ride or with the GIVI USB-hub. Or vice versa, when you want to link an electric device (on the handlebars) to a powerbank (in the tankbag).
