The letter and number combination in the name sometimes reveals a lot: the T-GP Plus R V3 is the textile version of the GP Plus, which also exists in a leather version. The GP and the Plus primarily point to the high sporting level. The "R" is the reference to racing and we are now on version 3. Oh yes, and in the world of Alpine stars Stella means that this is the female version.
We can be brief about that: Alpinestars Stella goes a little further than embroidering a fuchsia stripe on a men's jacket. This is a thoroughly feminine cut, which in terms of functionality remains very close to the male jacket with (almost) the same name.

Like the rest of the crash protection, the GP Lite shoulder section with dynamic friction shield has been brought straight from the race track, and is therefore of top quality. CE-certified internal protectors on the elbows and shoulders are pretty much standard, and also removable. Nucleon Flex Plus Armor" is the name of Alpinestars choice, and it is above all very flexible, thin, light and comfortable. The integrated TPU Guard on each shoulder was also there in the previous version, but it looks just a bit sharper. An optional Nucleon Plasma back protector (level 2-certified) or Nucleon KR-CELLi back protector (level 1-certified) or Nucleon KR-R CELL back protector (level 2-certified, snap-on system) can be integrated easily and quickly.
Reflective material on the Stella T-GP Plus R V3 increases visibility at night.
The jacket can be easily combined with a number of Alpinestars pants through the connecting zipper.
