This D-Throttle motorcycle backpack will in no time prove itself a reliable partner and throws in not only lots of storage compartments, but also a waterproof treatment.
The D-Throttle can hold just under thirty liters. This places it among the larger models in the range. On the motorcycle it should of course also remain somewhat ergonomic and this is where this motorcycle backpack scores very well.
It is cleverly constructed, with a laptop and/or tablet sleeve on the back. Through a 'zipper with roof’ you can reach this padded space perfectly without disturbing the rest of the backpack. Just about any 15-inch laptop should fit in it. Other smaller storage options are - from outside to inside - the two zipped compartments on the left and right, a central front pocket and a fleece-lined storage pocket on top.
This leaves us with the largest central pouch, which can be closed very well with a drawstring plus 'lid-with-two-quick-releases’. The water-repellent treatment given to the critical areas ensures that the D-Throttle is a pretty weatherproof motorcycle backpack. Absolutely by Italian standards. Perhaps a real waterstorm would be too much, although experience has taught us that a backpack - on your back - doesn't even get very wet on the road. Stopping at a red light or accidentally putting it in a puddle of water at your destination are actually bigger risks.
With the D-Throttle there is a good chance that it will not be as bad as all that. This is, although certainly not too rigid, a motorcycle backpack that inspires confidence and certainly can withstand a push.
The adjustable shoulder straps are wide, padded and soft. The ergonomic shape and additional chest strap ensure that the D-Throttle stays where you want it to while on the road.
The back of the D-Throttle is specifically designed to provide a healthy, ventilated temperature environment.
