These Detroit motorcycle jeans make you forget you're on a motorcycle. As soon as you get off, anyway. Although they are more than adequate as protective clothing, this variant of the classic jeans is certainly trendy and fashionable.
The Detroit TF goes for the washed, stretch look and is therefore close to what you might just take out of the closet every day. With this tapered fit model (note the TF in the name) the jeans fall normally to the thighs, the leg then tapers gradually from the knee to the ankle.
A number of specific features make it a handy pair of pants that are also very motorbike-oriented. Specially designed back pockets - the kind that don't interfere on a bike, and which hold wallets - are a first indication that these have been thought through. A sturdy button and zipper guarantee front closure.
The back and both knees are part of the double-layered PWR | Shield, which is extra wear- and tear-resistant thanks to a unique weaving technique. The Cordura® denim used throughout reinforces this on the outside, while the polycotton twill lining ensures comfort on the inside. The Detroit TF also has mechanical stretch technology literally woven into the fabric, which makes it extra comfortable to wear. The seams in the crotch have been repositioned for more freedom of movement. Five pockets guarantee the necessary storage space.
A good pair of jeans is of course first and foremost safe, which is the most important selling point. SEESMART™ CE-level 1 protectors on the knee are standard, and the Detroit TF also comes with two SEESMART™ CE-level 1 hip protectors.
When you turn over the bottom of the pants, you have reflective strips on both the left and right side to increase visibility.
By using the Safeway 2-belt, these jeans can be zipped to your favorite REV'IT! jacket.
