Classically British in look and feel, but with modern features. Glasgow combines the 'good old style' with the efficiency and technical know-how of a modern textile jacket. At first glance, the Modeka Glasgow looks like a classic British wax jacket. Complete with belt and buckle, which provide a centered look. The exterior is made of high quality water repellent cotton wax (polyamide), finished with perforated leather panels. Water repellent is not waterproof just yet, so a removable Humax membrane is provided: breathable yet 100% water- and windproof. On winter rides, a removable thermal lining provides extra warmth and comfort. Ventilation openings at chest level, back and underarms provide cooling in summer. This 3-in-1 wax jacket is one for all seasons. And many after that.
The Modeka Glasgow is comfortable in any way. And it always fits. The belt and two short zippers in the waist, velcro at the sleeve ends, a triple adjustable press stud on the flanks and the double (button and velcro) fitting possibility on the arms allow for numerous combinations. The collar is adjustable at the neck. The Glasgow has storage space in the form of a waterproof inner pocket, four sturdy outer pockets and extra space on the back.
SAS-TEC® protectors on the shoulders and elbows (EN 1621-1) provide the standard protection. On the elbows you can adjust the height. A foam back protector is provided and the optional upgrade comes in the form of a SAS-TEC®. Safety seams are pretty much standard equipment at Modeka.
This jacket can be combined with almost every pair of trousers in our range, thanks to a short and long connecting zipper. If you choose not to zip the jacket to the pants, the waistband will make sure the jacket covers your back when sitting down.
