The Horizon 2 - as pants - has the same features and qualities as the jacket with the same name and offers just as much comfort and protection. Waterproof, laminated and suitable for almost every type of weather.
The outer shell is a piece of ART, because apart from a combination of wear and tear resistant materials (PWR|shell 500D stretch 2L, PWR|shell 1000D 2L, PWR|shell 500D stretch) and strong stitching, you should also add the laminated hydratex® membrane. The latter is of course breathable and waterproof, while the pants (thanks to the the lamination) stay dry, or are at least quick-drying. Even from the outside, yes. So, comfort is a certainty in all circumstances. And because you have a removable thermal lining at the ready.
It will be nice and ‘warm’ soon, right? We can hear you think. Well, not so much. Just like the jacket, the Horizon 2 pants are equipped with the VCS | Aquadefence system. The large ventilation panels on the upper legs can be opened while riding thanks to the Fidlock® magnetic closures. Once open, two large mesh panels provide a direct airflow along the legs. The only drawback - well, because we really want to find one - is that you give up a little bit of storage space and the pockets get smaller. We can live with that.
REV'IT opts for a standard touring shape in terms of cut. Pretty straightforward and straight down, in other words. There are a number of individual adjustment possibilities, getting in and out goes smoothly - even with your motorcycle boots on - and the Horizon 2 features all the REV'IT proprietary advantages. Strapper-suspenders are part of the options, there is a higher-backed accordion piece, grip area where it should be, the YKK closure at the front, everything stretches just enough but never too much. Comfort and flexibility in one pair of pants, that's what it comes down to.
But safety is what we want as well. The SEEFLEX™ CE-level 2 knee protectors are standard, as are the extremely thin CE-certified SEESMART™ hip protectors. Laminated reflective strips enhance visibility.
It seems obvious to us that you combine the Horizon 2 pants with the Horizon 2 jacket. And the ladies can do the same, because both also exist in a specifically designed ladies’ version.
