The Fun Tour is a universal, non-magnetic tankbag that can be used on both metal and plastic tanks. With 12 liters of storage space, this is a medium-sized bag, but when unzipped (20 liters) it can be used perfectly for longer trips.
Assembly is quite simple: an adjustable strap is attached around the steering head at handlebar level. To attach it to the side of the saddle there is a 36 cm x 16 cm velcro strip included, with two adjustable straps. This strip is attached with the straps to the frame under the saddle and is placed on the tank. With a wide velcro which is attached to the bottom of the tankbag, the tankbag can then be fixed in the desired position on the strip that is located on the petrol tank. Rest assured: it sounds more complicated than it is.
At the ends there are two handy outer pockets, where small items can be stored. The central storage compartment has no extra divisions internally. A long zipper with two pullers closes everything nicely. On top there is a transparent storage compartment, where you can easily store a map, smartphone or tablet.
The Fun Tour is made of PVC and has anti-slip material on the base. Scratches or damage to the fuel tank are thus avoided. A separate waterproof rain cover is included. An integrated handle ensures that the tankbag can easily be carried once you've arrived at your destination.
The dimensions of this tankbag are 36 cm x 25 cm x 14 cm. The height is adjustable through a zipper – all-around the bag - up to 26.5 cm. Maximum content of the tankbag is then 20 liters.
Who wants to protect his or her tank against user damage can opt for paint protection. The soft anti-slip material is a much better alternative to the traditional cut and paste work with tape.
This tankbag does not come standard with a cable grommet, but the greatly increased use of electrical devices in and around the motorcycle led to the development of an optional power supply, in the form of the XS111. The accompanying template allows you to make your own (courtesy of the mounting piece). A sharp knife or good scissors and the XS111 kit are enough to bring any tankbag into these digital times.
